Statement on Results of Race:
Another election has come to pass and we respect the choices that have been made. We are pleased to announce that one of our candidates, Debby Guarni, has won her race for Pitman Borough Council. Your votes have affirmed our message of 'A Pitman for Everybody,' and we look forward to Debby’s leadership in making that vision a reality.
The victory enjoyed by Debby means that a Democratic majority will resume in Pitman. Debby will join Councilpeople James, Mazzola, and Uyehara to advance their shared vision of “a Pitman for Everybody.”
In Pitman, EVERY single vote counts. The counting of provision and remaining vote-by-mail ballots is still ongoing and we appreciate your patience as we await the finalized results.
Thank you to our two excellent candidates and to the scores of volunteers who knocked on doors, made phone calls, stuffed envelopes, and took time out of their busy lives because they believed in our shared vision. I know our candidates and our team of volunteers worked tirelessly and I can't thank you enough for your efforts.

Meet Debby GuarniMy late husband, Bob, and I proudly raised our children Rob (PHS 2006) and Megan (PHS 2009) on Crafton Ave. here in Pitman. I know firsthand how special Pitman is when raising a family.
A graduate of Pitman High School (PHS 1977), myself, I'm now retired after many years of working with children at both Weekday Nursery School and in our Pitman School District. Now I hope to dedicate my energy to serving Pitman on council. With my deep history here, decades of enduring love for my hometown, and its old and new traditions, and with a heart for the future, I'll be a Pitman Councilwoman for Everybody! |

Meet Chris MorozinThere is a magic about Pitman that everyone who visits can sense! Six years ago, during the Pitman Potter Festival, I asked my best friend to marry me in front of McCowan Memorial Library in Ballard Park. We chose to set our roots in Pitman and started our family here.
Today, as a father of two wonderful boys, I hope to bring a unique and needed perspective to council by representing everybody, including other growing young families! |
