![]() Dear Fellow Pitman Democrat: I’m so excited to let you know that I have been unanimously elected by our municipal committee as the new chairwoman of the Pitman Democratic Party! I want to particularly thank our former chair, Matt Weng, for his support. However, as we have always said, we owe the most thanks to you, the voters! We are confident that with your continued support, 2018 will prove another successful year for the Pitman Democrats. We have two excellent choices for council this year! ![]() Council President Paul Blass Paul’s leadership on council is a big part of the progress we’ve recently seen. He is liaison for Public Property and the Memorabilia Committee where his focus has been on preserving Pitman’s rich history. Paul continues to give back to Pitman through volunteering for such events as the Haunted Tales of Pitman Ghost Tour, the Spring Easter Egg Hunt, and last year’s Pitman Potter Festival. Paul has also previously volunteered as a soccer coach and the President of the Pitman Soccer Association. In his spare time, Paul advises the mock trial team at Pitman High School and is always willing to lend a hand to other community organizations in need of assistance. ![]() Councilwoman Amy Rudley Amy is a dynamic force on council, serving as Public Safety Director and as liaison to the Economic Development Committee. Amy also saw a need to connect with Seniors in Pitman and created our first Senior Outreach Committee in 2017. Through her work with the EDC, Amy has created and/or managed numerous successful community events in town, including the Haunted Tales of Pitman Ghost Tour, the Broadway Theater’s 90th Anniversary Celebration, Thursday Night Pop-Up Parks, the Holiday Sing-Along, the Winter Village, and the Pitman Potter Festival. On Tuesday, November 6th, Vote to Re-Elect Blass & Rudley To Pitman Council! Sincerely,
Vanessa E. James Chair, Pitman Democrats pitmandems@gmail.com
